Departure Points:
There is no charge for parking at any of our departure points, however Creative Travel, Inc, any bus company used nor the listed departure locations accept any responsibility for theft, damage or loss to any parked vehicle or its contents.
Most of our trips that go Southbound depart from the side parking lot at the Acme in Fairfax Shopping Center on Route 202 and then the T/A Truck Stop Center on Elkton Road at I-95.
Our Northbound trips mostly depart from the behind the NTB Tire & Battery Store on Kirkwood Highway and Limestone Road and then
the Acme in Fairfax Shopping Center on Route 202.
Though we depart from these locations, none of them are involved in or are responsible for any of our trips and should not be called for information about the trips. All questions should be directed to 302-658-2900.
Deposits:
ALL DEPOSITS FOR ALL TOURS ARE DUE WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF RESERVING YOUR TRIP: Day trips under $100 must be paid in full, Day trips over $100 must have a $100 deposit down. Overnights: $200 per person deposit due on tours under $600, 50% deposit on tours over $600. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure for Day Trips and 60 days prior to departure for Overnight Trips. Exceptions may occasionally occur depending on tour features and/or space available.
Cancellations: Creative Travel, Inc's cancellation policy is with at least 60 days prior notice before the trip, full refund is available, with 31 - 59 days notice, an in-house credit is available less any non-refundable expenses. No refunds on any trip cancelled without at least 30 days prior notice before the trip. We recommend purchase of third-party insurance, available from Creative Travel, Inc for any trip over $150 to cover the costs of cancellation.
Reservations:
Advance reservations are required for all tours with the exception of our daily Atlantic City run that is limited in seating. Reservations made and paid for in full at least 120 days in advance may be subject to a discount.
Baggage: Luggage handling for one large bag provided on most overnight tours and one small bag to fit under seat or on above racks. Drivers/escorts are available to assist when needed.
Gratuity: Gratuities for hotel maid services, tour escort & driver are not included. Gratuities are voluntary and to be based upon you receiving excellent customer service. The industry standard recommended gratuity per driver / per escort is $2.00 per traveler per tour day, but again, they are at your discretion.
Seating: We currently do not offer reserved seating. All seating is based on first-come-first-served. We do, however, reserve the right to have passengers from the first pickup location sit on one side of the vehicle to give the second pick-up equal seating opportunities.
Insurance: We highly recommend you purchase Cancellation and Interruption Insurance at the time of booking to protect you against losses in the event of an emergency causing you to cancel your trip or circumstances resulting in your return home in the midst of your trip. Trip insurance must be requested at the time of initial deposit to be valid and must be mailed directly to the company within 48 hours of your booking.
Proof of Citizenship : Certain trips, such as the White House Tour and any trip leaving the country, require Identification and Proof of Citizenship. With new laws that are now in affect, all passengers leaving the United States must obtain a valid passport. Creative Travel, Inc. offers the form required to obtain your passport.
Smoking and Alcohol: For everyone's safety and comfort, Creative Travel, Inc. asks that all customers please follow certain restrictions while on board. Federal law does not permit smoking on any of our buses. Alcoholic beverages will only be permitted by passengers of legal drinking age and when done in moderation. Intoxicated passengers will not be permitted to continue riding on our buses. All coolers must be on a seat or under seat and may not be placed in the aisle-ways. IMPORTANT: We have a zero tolerance policy for drugs, weapons and unruly behavior. Atlantic City casinos will not accept any buses with passengers who have been drinking on board. Please be aware that we will not refund and money if an individual or an entire bus is denied entrance to any facility due to any reason or for passengers being removed from the bus.
Hotel Accommodations: All prices, unless otherwise noted, are based on two persons in a room paying full rates.
Departure Times: Creative Travel, Inc. tours have a policy of leaving on time. It is recommended that all passengers arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to each departure time. Creative Travel, Inc. will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by a passenger for missing the bus before or during a scheduled trip. We leave on time!!
Cruises and Tours involving Airlines: Cancellation details will be provided for each individual trip at the time of ticket delivery and/or booking. In addition to any penalties imposed by the carriers or other vendors, Creative Travel, Inc will retain a service fee of $35 for all cancellations.
Creative Travel, Inc reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary and modify any part of it due to reasons beyond our control but will, as often as possible, maintain the same level of products/services on changes.
