Friday, August 1 - Culinary Institute of America - Hyde Park, NY - American Bounty
Enjoy This Hudson Valley destnation known for great views and even better food. We will have a 3-course meal at the American Bounty Restaurant featuring regional fresh ingredients. Our meal may consist of
Smoked Idaho Potato Soup, Then a Bourbon Brined Pecan Crusted Pork Loin with Sweet Potatoe Gratin, Coca Cola Cherry Sauce and Cornsticks, then Carmel Cajeta Cheesecake with Coconut Sauce and Tropical Fruit Salad.
After our delicious meal we will enjoy a walking tour of the campus.

Tour of Brooklyn’s BEST pizzerias. This 4 1/2 hour foodie romp includes pizza, soft drinks & an audio-visual historical tour of Brooklyn’s famous movie locations, landmarks, points of interest and see some of the things that have made Brooklyn famous. Time on your own until 6PM.

Sunday, Aug 24th - Maryland Renaissance Festival
The Maryland Renaissance Festival is a recreation of a 16th century English village. The village is named Revel Grove, and is set on a beautiful 25-acre wooded site with 85 acres of free parking. The village consists of craft and food booths, five pubs, ten major stages, a Jousting Arena and lots of games. The Maryland Renaissance Festival is a perfect family outing.

Saturday, Aug 30th - Tangier Island Lunch & Cruise
Population 850. This one school island dates back to 1607 and most of the people that reside on the island still speak with an Elizabethan accent. We will leave our area around 9:00 am and drive to Crisfield, MD. We will board the boat and cruise the 75 minute trip to Tangier Island where we will head down to Hilda Crockett's Chesapeake House for a delicious family-style meal including: 2 crab cakes, fried clams fritters, Virginia baked ham, corn pudding, sweet peas, pickled beets, applesauce, potato salad, cole slaw, yeast rolls, iced tea, and all-butter pound cake. We will then cruise back and return home by 9:00 pm.
