Saturday, October 3, spend the day, you may even enjoy the street fair they call Union Square Autumn Fair (Broadway between 17-23rd sts)
Saturday October 10, Spend the day on your own. You may choose to go to 6th Ave between 42-56 sts for the what they call the Avenue of the Americas Family Expo street fair.

Renault Chefs will feature a special German menu for all to enjoy. Over 50 crafters will have their unique creations on display. Fun for the entire family. Featured event of the day will be the grape stomping, you supply the foot power they supply the grapes you can take home a bottle of your creation.

Saturday, October 17 - Shenandoah Valley Hot Air Balloon & Wine Festival
THIS YEAR, we will double our chances of seeing the balloons rise into the sky. We will leave EARLY to get there for the Sunrise liftoff. (We will stay for the PM liftoff ONLY if the AM doesn't go) Huge balloons, including some with whimsical shapes, take to the skies (weather permitting). Join us for the Shenandoah Valley Balloon Festival at the Long Branch Estate in Millwood, Va. While the balloons are the real stars, these massive airborne craft are just the beginning of the entertainment and numerous activities taking place. There is also an antique car show. area is available for an additional $10

Sunday, October 25 - Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddlers Festival
Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddlers Festival is celebrating 20 years of fun. If you want the kids, family or fun people of any age, to dress up then can then join in a parade with more than 3,000 costumed participants.
The event offers a fiddler’s festival, hayrides, beach games, the Sea Witch Hunt, Witch’s Brew, horse show on the beach, a magic forest, tons of entertainment, including comedy shows, music, magic shows and much more. Don’t miss out on
the Pet Parade on the Boardwalk .

Tuesday, October 27 - Holland America Cruise Line's Alaska Night
Come aboard one of the Alaskan Cruisetour's motor coaches for an in-depth cruise night to learn about Alaska by cruise. This free event is for everyone to experience the comfort and luxury you will get on an Alaska cruise and tour.

Saturday, October 31 - NYC Chocolate Walking Tour
Amidst the street cafes and the hoard of French bistros in the Upper East Side and downtown Manhattan, you will be ‘transported’ into the elegance of Paris where you’ll have the chance to taste the finest chocolates made from the best cacao there is, whether it’s a Grand Marnier truffle, a violet-infused chocolate square, or a raspberry bonbon. A sweet trip for all ages.
