Saturday October 9, 2010, Spend the day on your own. You may choose to go to 6th Ave between 42-56 sts for the what they call the Avenue of the Americas Family Expo street fair.

This trip is designed for adults only. Located at Timonium Fairgrounds you will have the chance to choose from over 75 beers from 11 Maryland Breweries. As you enter the show, you’ll receive a souvenir tasting mug and 6 beer tokens. For those who like to drink more, you are welcome to purchase more tokens ($1 each), just drink responsibly (If you are dressed in a German outfit, you get 3 more tokens Free.)
Besides great bear. there will be lots of Oompah bands to enjoy your favorite German drinking songs. You can also enjoy the sausages, potato cakes, sour beef, schnitzel and other great German classics! (Other great Festival foods available too). Also check out a seminar or two about your favorite beer in the tasting theater

October 28, 2010 - Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt - Franklin Inst.
The world of Cleopatra, which has been lost to the sea and sand for nearly 2,000 years, surfaces in this new exhibition, Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt, making its world premiere at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Organized by National Geographic and Arts and Exhibitions International, with cooperation from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and the European Institute for Underwater Archaeology (IEASM), the exhibition features never before seen artifacts, and takes visitors inside the present-day search for Cleopatra, which extends from the sands of Egypt to the depths of the Bay of Aboukir near Alexandria
